My Slingo era

Before developing the platforms that host iGaming content at Caesars, I spent about five years building the actual casino games you see on those platforms at Slingo. Several of them are still live cash games today, and many of my original Slingo.com versions are playable in a browser.

Live Games

These are some games that I designed and developed the prototypes for that went on to become real world entities. They started out on our slingo.com site, and then would get pitched to vendors such as IGT and Aristocrat for embedded game IP, and later on, ported over to iGaming sites.

Slingo Advance

This stands as my proudest achievement in my gaming career. It was the first non-slots video game that IGT put on the floor. Our sales team came up with the concept, I wrote the design doc and prototype, and we all went to Reno to meet the IGT team and visit their amazing production facility where huge slot machines roll off the assembly line like cardboard boxes. Its now a cash game that lives on casino apps and sites, and I must admit that I enjoy playing it from time to time.

Slingo Blast

This is Slingo's first foray into "twitch" action gaming. We've certainly had timers in our games, but now the user must have nimble fingers and sharp reflexes to handle the steady influx of new Slingo tiles dropping into the board. Think of it as Slingo with a Tetris-like feel to it. It's since been scooped up by the wonderful people at Blastworks and converted into its own app.

Slingo SuperSpin

A "spin"-themed variant on the Slingo formula, complete with Slingo turntable and vinyl record. We added the extra wild card Slingo reel to keep the game pace fluid and fast, and fans loved it.

Prototypes

These are some of my games that served as both prototypes and Slingo.com content. All of these were made using the Slingo Slots Engine which I developed and owned. Using this engine, we made dozens of products like these. While the slots portion of these games are rather standard, its the bonus games that we designed that really shine. I would recommend playing on all 20 lines using minimum coins per line, not "max bet" to reach them quickly, because that's where the real fun (and money) is at.
